Welcome to ClimbEquip! As outdoors enthusiasts, we experience and explore some incredible, inspiring and isolated environments, whether its on our bikes, skis or our own two feet. We have, and will always need, A LOT of kit! Whatever the adventure is, it requires an extensive and expensive list of equipment. ClimbEquip has a mission to create an accessible platform to find or sell new and used outdoor equipment. We aim to extend the lifespan of some of our favourite items, whilst helping buyers save and sellers make some extra cash. Together, we can reduce the environmental impacts of excessive product production and waste.
With every ‘FEATURED! Listing’, we will donate 20p from each sale across three fantastic organisations. We are committed to encouraging the safe exploration of our natural environments, helping preserve and protect them for all to enjoy and subsequently improve mental well-being. Sustainability…our aim is to:
– ‘To keep items in circulation for longer’ Research shows by increasing the lifespan of an item by only 9 months can reduce carbon emissions by as much as 10%
– ‘Create a community of like minded users’ Helping reduce the outdoor equipment and clothing industry’s impact on the environment
– ‘Reduce unnecessary landfill waste’ by purchasing second-hand items, this prevents unnecessary product and packaging waste ending up in landfill.
